Why I Started Vivid Ink Co. Art Studio
Art has always been a part of my life.
Like many artists, I started creating at a young age. Over time, life got busy. Careers, responsibilities, and everyday obligations pushed art into the background. But the desire to create never really disappeared.
Years later, I picked up a paintbrush again.
What began as a creative outlet quickly became something more. Painting gave me a way to express emotions, ideas, and experiences that are often difficult to put into words. Every canvas became an opportunity to explore color, movement, energy, and the stories that connect us all.
That journey eventually led to the creation of Vivid Ink Co. Art Studio.
My work is inspired by resilience, human emotion, music, Louisiana culture, and the beauty that can emerge from chaos. I am drawn to bold colors, expressive textures, and compositions that invite viewers to pause and discover their own meaning within the piece.
Many of my paintings begin without a clear destination. Layers are built, colors collide, and the artwork evolves organically. Somewhere between control and unpredictability, the real story begins to emerge.
As both an artist and a father, I believe creativity has the power to inspire, heal, and connect people. My goal isn't simply to create paintings that look good on a wall. I want to create artwork that makes people feel something.
This blog will serve as a place to share my creative process, new releases, behind-the-scenes studio updates, upcoming exhibitions, and the stories behind the paintings themselves.
Whether you're a collector, fellow artist, or someone who simply appreciates creative expression, I'm grateful you're here.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
